What is Gemlucart?
"The association GEMLUC: Grouping of Monegasque Companies in the Fight against Cancer offers a Contemporary Art Competition called GemlucArt placed under the honorary presidency of Her Royal Highness the Princess of Hanover. It is intended to raise funds in order to finance clinical research and participate in equipping hospital services specializing in oncology. The Gemluc organizes an exhibition to discover the works of artists in Monaco, and to raise funds for the fight against cancer. This exhibition brings together 135 artists from around the world and educates the general public about the major public health problem that is cancer. These works, judged by an international jury made up of museum curators and art critics, will be exhibited at the Rainier III Auditorium (Monaco, Grand Prix tunnel). GEMLUC makes this exhibition a milestone both in terms of contemporary art and in terms of innovation in terms of seeking funding for charitable actions."
